Wanderlust Gene Test

The "wanderlust gene" is a genetic variant of the DRD4 gene, which encodes the dopamine receptor D4. DRD4 variation can occur in a repeat region that controls the structure of the dopamine receptor. Genetic variants known as the 7R+ alleles are more likely to seek out new experiences, hence the 7R+ allele is known as the "wanderlust gene."
